1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bola mobile application and website.
By accepting or using the platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the app or its services.
2. Role of Bola
Bola is a technology platform that connects riders with car/bike owners who provide
empty seats for shared journeys. Bola:
Does not own or operate any car or bike.
Does not act as a transportation service provider.
Does not verify the accuracy of seat availability or vehicle details provided by owners.
Only facilitates booking, communication, and payment services.
3. Indemnification
The car/bike owner (Mobility Service Provider) agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Bola,
its affiliates, employees, and partners from:
Service breach or violation of obligations.
Any unlawful acts or violations of transport laws.
Damage to Bola’s reputation due to owner’s actions.
Misconduct, fraud, theft, negligence, or accidents during rides.
Personal injury, death, or property damage to riders resulting from the use of the vehicle.
Failure to pay taxes, fees, fines, or government dues.
Note: Decision of Bola admin is final and binding in case of disputes.
4. Bola’s Limitation of Liability
Bola is not responsible for:
Timely arrival or departure of vehicles.
Driver conduct, behavior, or safety compliance.
Condition or cleanliness of vehicles.
Trip cancellations by either rider or owner.
Baggage loss or damage.
Incorrect boarding point information.
Seat changes or last-minute adjustments made by the owner.
Under all circumstances, the maximum liability of Bola is limited to
INR 1,000 (One Thousand Only).
5. User Responsibilities
Verify boarding point by contacting the car/bike owner.
Carry valid government ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, etc.).
Reach the boarding point at least 30 minutes before departure.
Ensure the accuracy of personal and travel details.
Do not transfer or resell your ticket.
6. Cancellation Policy
Ride cancellations must be done via the Bola app or website only.
Cancellation charges may apply as per the Bola cancellation policy.
7. Payment & Commission
Full payment must be made during online booking, including base fare, GST, and service fees.
Bola deducts 15% commission from each seat booking.
Remaining amount is transferred to the owner’s bank account within
7 working days.
8. Legal Compliance
Car/bike owners must ensure full compliance with:
Motor Vehicle Act & Rules
Transport Department Regulations
State Government and Central Government guidelines
Any fines, penalties, or legal actions must be handled solely by the owner/rider,
and not by Bola.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of
Guwahati, Assam courts only.
10. Final Disclaimer
The rider and owner are entirely responsible for providing correct information.
Bola is not responsible for any false, misleading, or incomplete data
shared by users or owners.

(“Bola”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, protects, and shares your personal information when
you use our mobile app or website. By accessing or using Bola, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Information: Name, phone number, email address.
ID Verification: Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport (only when required).
Publisher/Driver Data: Vehicle details, driving license, insurance documents, bank details for payouts.
Device Information: IP address, device model, OS details, app version, location (when permitted).
Payment Information: UPI/Wallet/online payments (we do NOT store card numbers or UPI PINs).
3. How We Use Your Information
To process bookings and match riders with publishers.
To verify your identity and enhance security.
To manage payments, refunds, and commissions.
To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
To prevent fraud, violations, and abuse of the platform.
To improve app performance, features, and personalization.
4. When We Share Your Information
With Publishers: Your name and contact number are shared to complete bookings.
With Law Enforcement: When required under Indian law or for safety reasons.
With Service Providers: Payment gateways, SMS/OTP providers, hosting partners.
We do NOT sell or rent your data to advertisers or outside companies.
5. User Responsibilities
You must provide real, accurate, and updated information.
You must carry a valid government ID during boarding.
You must follow safety guidelines and act responsibly.
Any misuse of the platform may result in account suspension.
6. Data Security
We use encryption, secure servers, firewalls, and limited access control to protect your data.
However, no online service is completely risk-free, and you use Bola at your own discretion.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information as long as your account is active or as required by law for audit,
taxation, compliance, and security purposes.
8. Your Rights
Request access to the data we store about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion (unless restricted by law).
Withdraw permissions such as location access.
9. Cookies & Tracking
Our website/app uses cookies for analytics, performance improvement, and a smoother experience.
You can disable cookies through your browser, although some features may stop working.
10. Third-Party Services
Bola uses trusted partners such as payment gateways, SMS services, hosting providers, and
analytics tools. These third parties follow strict privacy and security standards.

Bola may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page,
and continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by Rider (Passenger)
Riders must cancel their booking through the Bola mobile app only.
Open the app → Go to My Ride → Booked section → Select booking → Press the red Cancel button.
The refund will be automatically credited to the original payment bank account.
Service charges / Bank charges are non-refundable.
Refund will be processed within 7–14 business days.
Free cancellation does not include add-ons, convenience fees, or service charges.

2. Cancellation by Publisher (Driver/Owner)
Publishers must cancel their published ride through the Bola app.
Open app → Go to Publishes → Select ride → Press the red Cancel button.
Cancellation charges will appear in the Wallet section.
Charges will be automatically debited from the publisher’s wallet balance.

3. Modifications & Termination
Bola reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the cancellation/refund policy or
update these terms at any time without prior notice.
4. Limitation of Liability
Bola is not responsible for losses caused due to political unrest, social disruptions,
natural emergencies, or events beyond our control.
Bola’s maximum liability is limited to the refund amount stated under this policy.
